Stephen Massey

Chairman

Prior to joining Eden in December 2003, Stephen was Chairman and Chief Executive of Prudential-Bache International Ltd (1995-2003), a global financial services firm serving institutional and private clients throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia. Stephen’s responsibilities at Prudential-Bache included private banking, institutional equity sales and global derivatives. Stephen joined Prudential-Bache in 1981.

David Bearman

Chief Executive Officer

David trained as a lawyer with Berwin Leighton where he specialised in corporate finance. Having spent some time in industry gaining broad commercial experience, David joined Durlacher Corporation in 1997 as a founder member of the corporate finance group. He spent 4 years working on a wide range of public and private transactions including IPOs, acquisitions and fund raisings. David joined Eden in November 2001.

Pat Johnson

Chief Operating Officer

Pat joined Eden Financial in January 1999. Since 1971 Pat has obtained technical and operational expertise gained with companies such as First Equity Ltd, Parrish Stockbrokers (formerly Dunkley Marshall) and Orme & Eykyn. He is a member of the Securities Institute (MSI) and was formerly an individual member of the London Stock Exchange.

John Gulliver

Chief Financial Officer

John joined Eden in 2002 with 18 years experience working within the finance services industry. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst &Young where he spent 10 years working in their financial services practice in London and New York. He subsequently joined UBS in 1994 before taking the role of Head of Accounting at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette in London and, following their acquisition by Credit Suisse First Boston, a director of Finance and Accounting. He has a degree in Mathematics from Warwick University. In his free time he enjoys golf, skiing, running and travelling.

Curtis Childs

Managing Director of Wealth Management

Curtis has 20 years of investment management experience since beginning his career with EF Hutton as a Financial Adviser in Los Angeles in 1987. He moved to London in 1990 and joined Prudential Bache International where over a 16 year period he held a range of investment management, senior management and Board positions in London and Europe. He has a MBA from the Drucker School of Management in Claremont California, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA, and a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals. He is a member of the Eden’s Asset Allocation and Flagship Fund Committees.

Richard Harrington

Non Executive Director

Richard has had 25 years experience in business since graduating from Oxford University in 1979. He has been involved in a number of enterprises in both the public and private sectors in the property and leisure areas. He is currently a Director of a property company, Harvington Properties, which he co-founded in 1984, is Chairman of Prime Property Group PLC, a company involved in the development and marketing of properties in Southern Europe. He was formerly CEO and co-owner of LSI Group Holdings PLC, a property and leisure business which was sold to Sunterra Inc, an American public company in 1997. Richard remained with the company as Chief Executive until 2000 when he left to concentrate on his private business interests.

Mark Futter

Non Executive Director

After attending the London School of Economics, Mark founded, then built up and floated a branded consumer electronics business, Bush Radio plc, designing and distributing principally audio products to major multiple retail groups in the UK and Europe.  Following the sale of Bush to a public company, Mark focussed on investing in the publishing and securities industries.  He has been an active investor in UK private and public companies for over 20 years.
